Greeting

突然の風におどる小枝
まぶしすぎる南仏のひかり
ふと感じる風のにおい

波打ちぎわの足元が沈みこむような砂の感触
プルシャンブルーの海に点々とうかぶ白い帆

Cafeでおもいおもいにくつろぐ女達
コートをひるがえしてさっそうと歩く後姿
街角を音もなく横切る黒猫

そして小さい頃から踊ることが大好きな
私の大切なテーマ ”ラ・ダンス”
墨と竹を使い真白な紙の上で遊ぶのは
なによりおもしろい

またモンテカルロバレエ団のダンサーの
鍛えられた美しい肉体と
ストイックなまなざしを描くのは
簡単ではないけれど、とても興味深い。

これからまた、どんな出会いがあり
どのように自分が変化するのか
楽しみにしている。

心のままに、これからも旅をする。

Twigs dancing in the sudden wind,
Dazzling sunlight of Southern France,
The Aroma of the breeze catching me by surprise,
The sense of sand caressing my toes,
The whiteness of the salis amid the Prussian Blue of the sea,
Women branching in cafes and their idol thoughts,
People passing by, coat trailing,
Black cat silently parading on the street corner,
My favourite theme from youth ‘La Dance’,
Let my brushpen playfully dance on the pure white,
This is my sheer joy above all.
Mesmarising Monte Carlo dancers, stoically trained and finley horned, their work beyond description.
So to the future who I shall be and further encounters on the road ahead?
My journey continues.

東京生まれ。
東京音楽大学ピアノ科を卒業した後、自らの表現意欲を絵画制作に向け、渡仏。
南仏プロヴァンス地方カシスを中心に創作活動を始める。
帰国後、自由さと繊細さを併せ持つその独自の感性が
日本現代美術界においても認められ
1982年には日仏現代美術展「生」に入選を果たす。
1983年には帚木 蓬生著『カシスの舞』（新潮社）の表紙と挿絵を手がけた。
1990年に再び渡仏、創作活動を続け
1993年には南仏エクス・アン・プロヴァンスにて個展を開催。
「フランスと日本の文化をエレガンスに融合させる画家」として
地元紙に紹介され、好評を博す。
1994年には南仏「コンクール サロン・ド・プラスティック」入賞。
日本では1996年東京で初個展”プロヴァンスへの旅”を開催。
以降全国で定期的に個展を開くかたわらで、精力的に海外取材を続けている。
2011年にはロックブリュンヌ カップ マルタンにて個展を開催。

一見水彩画のようにも見える作品は、竹ペンと墨を用いた印象的な黒い縁取りと
アクリル絵の具の繊細で柔らかな色彩で構成された
彼女独自の表現であり、女性を中心に幅広い支持を得ている。
イタリア、フランスを中心に取材、創作活動をこなす彼女の作品は
単なる”ヨーロッパへの憧景”だけでなく
何気ない日常生活の中に見いだす一瞬の”エスプリ”を表現している。
一休日の昼下がりの公園、カフェでおしゃべりを楽しむ小粋な女たち
美しく飾られた窓辺の花々、街角を横切るマダムのチャーミングな横顔ー
その気負いのないストレートで感性あふれる作風は
2001年「日本におけるイタリア年」に産経新聞で一年間取り上げられるなど
メディアの注目も集めている女流画家である。


Born in Tokyo, graduated in Piano from Tokyo College of MusicEmbarked on an artistic tour in Provence in Southern France.In 1982 Her work were exhibited in a Franco-Japanese Comtemporary Art Exhibition, being noted for its delicate freedom.

In 1983 Worked on the cover and illustrations of ‘Cassis no Mai’ by Hosei Hahakigi.

Exhibited at a gallery in Aix-en-Provence in Southern France introduced by a local newspaper as a painter well-known for elegant fusion of French and Japanese culture.

In 1994 Her work was acclaimed at ‘Concours Salon-de-plastic’in Southern France.

In 1996 Alongside her regular exhibitions she opened her solo exhibition ‘Trip to Provence’ in Tokyo.

In 2011 Solo exhibition in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

Her work looks like water colour but is in fact produced by bamboo pen and Japanese calligraphy ink interwoven with acrylic paint and her works are well-received by female fans and beyond. She gets her inspiration from Italy and France, from momently expression of everyday life,

such as a holiday afternoon in a local park, stylish ladies chatting in a café, beautifully arranged flowers by a window, profile of a passing ladies and so on.

The straightforward style of her work was the focus of ‘Italian year in Japan’ in Sankei Newspaper and now she has received much media attention.
